ITPSA appointed Josep Mascarell as director of the technical department and innovation

ITPSA company, has named Dr. Josep Mascarell technical director to replace Dr. Silvia Peris. The company starts this new period by creating the technical department and innovation which agglutinate all research and product development activity and regulatory affairs related with EU and Non EU markets. Dr. Josep Mascarell is a veterinarian that holds a PhD. in veterinary medicine by the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and practically spent his entire career in ITPSA. He joints the company in 1994 at the technical sales department. From 1999 to 2005 Dr. Mascarell coordinates, from its base in China, the creation of new ITPSA subsidiaries in several Asian countries and at his return was promoted to Asia Area Manager and Marketing coordinator. In this new position Dr. Mascarell will also continue to play its current role as Area Manager Asia. The Technical and innovation department will also feature the new addition of Dr. Sergi Carner a graduate in Veterinary Science by the University Cardenal Herrera, Valencia and PhD. in Veterinary Medicine by UAB, where he has been developing research projects in the Department of Animal Science and Food until the end of 2010.
